Use a Laser Rangefinder, most are +/- 1 yard, much more accurate. If you don't have one perhaps you could borrow one from a hunting buddy. Easier to measure with another person.
Divide your pond into 3 sections more or less rectangles, the main body and then each of the two smaller parts. Convert the area to square feet, add them up and divide by 43,681 to get acres.
Mistakes are proof that you are trying.
