My main pond is 5 feet from my bedroom window and 14 ft from my office-lab. When I did not live at my pond I always had problems with uninvited "guests" even relatives fishing the the unguarded pond. Now it is no longer a problem.
As far back as I can remember I fished with my dad and raised fish in aquariums, tubs and even cisterns. My dad introduced me to fishing, it bloomed into full time aquatic biology with an emphasis on diatom taxonomy and fish culture & management.
