The pond is definitely a mixed bag of critters, for sure. I've trapped a couple of small RES from the pond (most likely hurricane harvey deposits) and transplanted a dozen or so, but as of yet haven't been able to get a hook in one to see how they're doing. I'm hoping they are able to compete with all the larger mouthed fish I've got. Surprisingly, the GSF and WM, along with the 3 LMB seem to be controlling the BG pretty well tho. Would love to catch a RESX from my little puddle.

.10 surface acre pond, 10.5 foot deep. SW LA. The epitome of a mutt pond. BG, LMB, GSF, RES, BH, Warmouth, Longear Sunfish, Gambusia,Mud Minnows, Crappie, and now shiners!!...I subscribe!!
