TRUSS TIME We rented the telehandler (aka; shooting boom). Wow; what a cool toy...I want one! We asked one of my best pals and his wife to help us set (also helps that they are BIG time into fishing...wink!) It took 2 long days in the heat and humidity, but we got 'er dun.
We pre-paneled and finished most all the heavy lifting work on the gable end trusses. All the additional weight concerned me for the truss integrity during the lift, at the lift points. We added some 3/4" plywood gusset bolsters with a buncha screws. It worked. (big monkey off'a my shoulders)
