What part of pond (S, SW, NW etc) And why would you think there? Is there more shade vs sun there? Trees? Structure?
Bottom appears to be sand with some oak leaves? In my pond they prefer to lay over the leaves it seems, maybe bottom is warmer there?
Traditionally we are told they prefer to intertwine egg strands in branches or structure. Is that the case here?
It appears that the depth we put branches in our ponds is 20-30" My eggs have gone in 8-12". Your water looks quite shallow here?

I can't help you with the other cluster of eggs. I know American toad eggs are dark black and in long ribbons. We get tons of those but they come much later, after perch ribbons are gone and water is warmer.
