Ok, so I have finally built my aeration system. I have installed one 9 inch vertex diffuser, ( im waiting for more sinking line for the second) diffuser.

That said I want to go ahead and start using the single one. I recall seeing that I SHOULD phase in time intervals so as not to injure the fish populations?

I thought I read where I should start with 15 to 30 minutes to begin with then double it the next day and so on?

Can I gt some some advise?

Thx RUMBLON

Rumblon,

If you pond is older I would do 15 mins / then 30 then 1 hours then 2, but if you smell some bad odors comings from the pond stay at the time frame until the odors are gone and you cant smell them anymore ok. Then increase to next level. Be careful in this heat go slow.

IMO it wouldn't hurt to do 2/ 30 minutes days in a row and 2/ 1 hours days in a row then move up to 2 hours then 4 and so on.

The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
