Ken, you mention culling before the spawn, and I acknowledge your reasons for doing so, but in this case can you target individuals WHILE they are on nests? Certainly that would be heavily biased towards males of both the crappie and HBG, but sight-fishing shallow water targets might allow for the exclusion of non-targeted species?
Just wondering out loud. My thoughts too.
