This is where I am at. I have aerated my pond, What is my course of action now to help with ridding my WM DW and getting the pond in shape for fish? Will the aeration get things turned around by it self in the long run?

Wouldn't I want to or how would I clear up the over abundance of nutrients that is feeding my Weeds? Microbes?

I believe it is from the organics on the bottom of the pond with as much leaves and muck that is present.

If I was to Sonar the pond wouldn't it stand to reason that it would come back next year?

I am sorry to beat this question up but I am confused at which way to go now.

Will not clear itself with aeration. Good news the aeration if working properly wil rhelp to reduce nutrinet source. If you eradicate with Sonar no it does not mean it will come back. However if reintroducded at somepoint from a number of sources it could come back. If it comes back key is immediate treament. In that case it is much cheaper to treat if you get on it right away with Reward.

Thank you, With it fully covered on the surface will any kind of product work to reduce the muck and nutrients on the bottom until I can afford the sonar? Fish will not survive in the pond in its present condition.
