Flame that looks great! You will find the tripod feeder works pretty good for the price. Like mine the only downfall is trying to fill it and get to it if something is not working right.
Hence this year I am thinking of putting mine on a 6 inch pvc pipe square with two 2x4's going across for the legs. Cutting down the legs to about 18 inches and setting it out there with an anchor. This will help me with 3 things.
1. It will be shorter and easier to get feed in it by boat. 2. It will lower and raise with the water levels. 3. If I ever need to move it out farther or just to another spot all I have to do is pull up the anchor and move it quick.
Anyhow your place looks good! How big is that pond again? And do you like your pedal boat? I was thinking of getting one of them...

The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
If you dont mind a rope in the water, this is what I did. No boat needed to fill. Pull one side to bring to bank, pull other side to pull back over anchor. Sorry, I'm no picasso.
RC, Thanks for your advise and crazyju too. I will probably float it in the future. RC the pond at full pool will be 2 acres and approx. 12 ft deep in the deep end. All of those tire structures will be in 5 foot water at pool. The wooden pallets will be in 4 ft water at pool. The walkway is temporary until we get enough water to place my 28 ft pontoon boat in the location I want it. How did you like my $100 pedal boat!! I ran a add in a wanted paper for a boat and found this one only 35 miles from my house. I got a second call on one a man says he is just going to give me his. The boat works great for the grandkids. My wife and I and our 9 year old go out together in it. It is very stable and has been very handy to run out and do some work on fish structure. I took the picture of the deer just yesterday from my back porch.I was testing my feeder with some corn and dropped some on the ground by my shop. We have some very tame and brave deer on our 21 acre piece of Heaven. Fish will be coming from Overtons next Wednsday!!
Dear Alcohol, We had a deal where you would make me funnier, smarter, and a better dancer... I saw the video... We need to talk.
It's looking good! 2 acres IMO is perfect for a pond! I wish mine was 2 acres! 100 bucks for the boat!! Nice! I would like one of them for when it's just me going fishing instead of using my big 14 foot flat bottom! That gets old by yourself. Plus being able to use your feet and keep your hands free while fishing would be nice!! I gotta get one!!
what's funny is you have exactly double what I have! My pond is 1 acre and I have 11 acres. I love what I have don't get me wrong but for those looking for a pond and land if you can I would get at least a 2 acre pond. It's not to big and not to small just right!

FWIW, When I was a kid dad attached a hinged/swinging frame work to a tree....sort of like a jib crane and suspended the fish feeder from it. Made it easy to access for refills.
