I have the Minn Kota iPilot (but not with the fancy auto deploy feature) on my bass boat and have had a lot of fun with it in the pond.
As my non-boating cousins began freaking out as the boat began drifting away from the boat dock, with them in it, I let it go a ways and then I simply called it back in like a little puppy dog, "come here boy, come on, come on".
Of course with the remote in my pocket but that was one of the best! (well, it was in MY opinion
)
