The reason I refused to install a very big hot water heater while my kids were teenagers. The water heater limitation was the shower length limiter. Wife was not always happy about running out of hot water for other stuff at times, but it sure got the kids out of the shower in a one bathroom house.
We got a bigger one now that the kids are gone. snrub, why would you want to heat hot water?
