Is there away to economically permanently sterilize fish?

I would like to add some different species of fish to our perch pond but would not like to screw up the great pond we have going on.

I would really like to add some black crappy BUT YOU ALL KNOW how they can take over a pond. This got me thinking today. If there was away to add permanently sterilize these black crappy I would add 100.

Thoughts or is this just a pie in the sky idea.

Cheers Don.

Is there a way? Probably so, they do it with Grass Carp. Economically feasible for 100 fish? No way.

If you really, really want to add them, catch them in the Spring before they spawn when you can positively ID them and just add single sex fish.

How about adding crappie when you can sex them during spawning season? The males turn quite dark and the females bunch up with eggs.

No idea which ones has the best trophy potential.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
