I think this is great advice. I can't recall anyone ever getting into a sticky situation and saying "Gee I wish I hadn't gotten my attorney involved in this on the front end". The warden has not done anything to inspire confidence or trust by giving you so little information and calling you down to his place. Better to be cautious, might be good for a chuckle later if it's nothing, but at least you'll be prepared for the worst.
