My neighbor just above the pond drilled a well and it produces 2 gallons per minute. I believe he told me is was close to 200' deep. He has to have a storage tank just to be able to supply enough water for his house. I will probably have a well drilled but don't realistically think it will supply enough to fill the pond. It is pretty much hit and miss where we are. By the way how good of a well do you think it would take to keep a 2 acre pond filled or at least partially filled?
