i am terrible at guessing weight. i bought digital scales last year and the first fish i caught weighed 3/4 lbs. i would have guessed a pound. this fish is way larger than that one, but still not sure of weight. i need to get me a basket or net to put the fish in to weigh them. im afraid i will kill them with the hook on the scales going into their gills.
any thoughts on something to put them in to weigh? maybe some sort of net bag?
