Went out to our ranch the other day with a few buddies to fish the Salado Creek. I caught this fish out of our spring on a 7" Zoom worm in Red Shad, Texas rigged. The spring is a hole of water about 75 yards long, 15'-20' across, depth from 2'-8' with several big boulders, a rock ledge and some Lilly pads. I love flipping and pitching it. I flipped the worm off the edge of the Lilly pads and near a fallen pecan tree. The fish slammed it immediately! I didn't weigh it, but it was released. Not my biggest, but it's the best LMB that I've caught in awhile.

A bad day fishing is better than the best day at work!

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."
