New pond
I finally finished the pond. Thanks for a great site that gives valuable information. These pictures show the pond at about half full. Thanks again, I got great advise from this forum.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Thanks. I plan on having Lmb, smb, bg, and channel catfish. I am still researching. The pond is 17' at the deepest point with an acreage depth of about 8' to 10'. The over all size is about 1.7 acres. Any suggestions on stocking? I will try to post some pictures of pond while full.

The SMB will struggle when in combination with LMB. Lots of good threads in the archives on this.

If you want SMB, try:
RES, SMB, GSH, YP
You can also add WE and HSB as bonus fish.
Add crayfish and shrimp to help boost forage base.
If you want LMB, try:
BG, RES, LMB, CC
HSB as a bonus fish - but be careful of stocking size or LMB will snack on them.
