Lovnlivil, you have done an amazing job on the farm. Having made my living by renting out homes, I can tell you that you are the kind of person that a landlord loves. If he does decide to retire there, I might try to get him to let you build a small vacation type home on the property somewhere. If you could lifetime rights to the property and let it revert back to the farm at the time of your and wife's passing his children would probably want to do this.
