I tried searching for a thread on this topic, but couldn't find one. So maybe some of you bright folks know.
I stocked feed trained bass finglings in my new pond last spring and they are doing well- growing and eating the AquaMax feed. I was wondering if their offspring will eat the feed as well???? It's probably a stupid question, but........stupid is as stupid does

Thanks Tums! I guess I need to learn how to sharpen my search skills. I searched under "feed trained LMB"????

That was a good question and a good find Tums.

I will add that referenced post that subsequent studies show that purely feed trained LMB put into an existing pond with fish including LMB who also eat natural prey , don't fare as well (they don't compete well). A better method is for the hatchery to feed train the LMB and move them for a time to a pond with forage as well as pellets. Studies show those LMB can compete with existing LMB.
