BGK, I think you need to thin some of the 'yotes. They eat a LOT of fawns, and when times are tough they might not kill an adult deer, but they'll sure stress them.
Nate, didn't Dr. Grant Woods say that in the study that they did, 'yotes killed and ate almost 80% of the fawns in the first 4 hrs after they were born?
Scott, there is no shortage of deer in my zone so I could only imagine what would happen with no natural predator...Also all the deer that get hit by cars but dont die immediately go to the coyotes for clean up as well...
