Since I am working on election day, we got training yesterday as a refresher. My favorite of the day is a Virginia law that if you arrest someone on election day within near proximity to a polling place, you must ask them if they plan to vote. If they say yes, before you take them to jail you must allow them to vote if they are registered. Awesome!

Travis, I'm trying to think of a response that won't get me moderated.

Same here in Indiana. A few elections ago I was going to sit back with some beer and chips and watch the returns come in. I didn't know it was illegal to buy booze on election day and went to the local grocery store to get some. Much to my surprise I was told it was illegal. It went downhill from there. My candidate lost badly. If they don't want you do get sudzed up on election day what keeps you from buying it the day before? Duh!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

No Cecil, we're not at all immune. We are just forced to think in advance.

I had to work in the morning, my lieutenant let me sneak out in the afternoon! They wanted all hands on deck in case things went crazy but it was a dud and nothing exciting happened. My lieutenant said as long as things were quiet he'd let me out by noon. I was outta there at 11 and heading south for my evening hunt.

Hey Cecil, following up here.
If I said what I really think about some subjects, I would probably be booted off the site.

No Cecil, we're not at all immune. We are just forced to think in advance. Just chiding you Dave. BTW I was wrong about the law in Indiana. You can buy boos on election day but not until after the polls close.

Yes it did. Some opinions were beginning to be expressed that might not have been shared by everyone else. Anything political in nature has a pretty short shelf life here.

Excellent....now I can add another subject to my list of PondBoss unmentionables:
1) Religion 2) Politics 3) Global warming 4) Georgia Giants 5) Why do pinched feed pellets sink?
With each passing day I grow more secure in the knowledge that I am less likely to commit a faux pas here at PB by delving into forbidden territory........keep em' comin' See...it's working already......I didn't post in that thread..
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.
