In the heat of the summer there are always schools of fish congregated by aeration diffusers. When gizzard shad are present you can walk across them they are so thick...Crappies hang underneath them about 6' down....big bluegills alot of times hug tight to the bottom in a 50 yard circle around them....and bass and muskie and walleye move in and out all day long....you can literally fish an aerator all day long as the fish move in and out....

I install aeration diffusers strategically in larger bodies of water just to congregate fish. Most aeration companies do not market their products for this purpose, but I think there is tremendous potential there...

You are so right. The congregated fish do tend to be more agressive. My well does the same in the colder months also. I checked this morning and it was pumping out 68 degree water and alot of the fish had migrated toward that end of the pond. It sure does come in handy when the air temps are in the 30's with a 20 mph wind.
