Greetings, Pond Boss forum faithful! Just got a note from Shanna Egli, Publisher of Land & Water Magazine. She would like a photo to use in their advertising campaign. Our forum buddy, teehjaeh, suggested to her that we see if any of our pondmeister/members here has one. That photo will be used in their next Pond Boss ad, too. Here are her words, "We are looking for any eye-catching shot showing our natural resource, water, but preferably not focussing on fish. We love our fish, but it isn't the focus of our publication (as you know)." So, anyone got a great image of their water?

Again, disappointingly not my pond :-(, though it is my family.
This however IS my pond, forgot about this pic until I was sorting the above vacation shots: (Slightly different from earlier) I have a sequence of shots all taken from the same point from start to pond full, and back to 2' down from the dry summer.
Ironically, Zep, in that picture, the boys were back in town, to a degree. That picture is from my wife and I being in our old vacant house in our old neighborhood, getting ready for a annual Halloween party in our old neighborhood.
But really, i was just some kind of pimp in that picture. I have used the same wig for some good Hendrix impersonations thought!

Thanks DD1 I kept begging the wife to ride out and take a look at this place. That view sold it for her.we called the real estate agent listed on sign on the way back home and told her we would like to make an offer.
Well I know its been a while............ But I got an e-mail requesting the use of one of the photo's I submitted. Low and behold. we made the cover. They sent us a couple of hard copies also.
