Is there much interest in Solar powered aeration systems and if so, which would be prefered; 1) Shore mount system where all components are on shore and a hose is fed out to the pond, or 2) Floating systems where everything is in one unit floating out in the pond?

hello all i have not been on the site in some time. pottsy, due to the need for aeration when the sun isnt shining, solar powered aeratorsare not really effective for ponds that have high fish populatons. ie a small pond that has been heavily stocked for bass production.

Hence the need for battery back-up solar systems.
