Our new members of our pond, LMB, HBSB and CC all came feed trained. I have been at sea and the wife has been feeding them. Should we broadcast the food or feed in one spot? I have seen a few posts about using a holu hoop on the water to contain the feed and train the fish to eat in the same place. I am just wondering if the LMB and CC can compete with the welfare grubbing HBSB as my wife says they are there first and eat the most.

Since the pond's fairly small, (have her) try different methods and see what works. I have a hunch that the 3 species will not prefer taking their feed in the same spot, or even in the same kind of spot. You may even be able to tailor what fish gets the most feed based on placement.
You could end up just throwing in the feed on the windward side, to give the fish the most time to eat before it washes ashore.
