That's neat. How many fish did that first one catch? It looked like more than one. What were they?
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color. Without a sense of urgency, Nothing ever gets done. I don't know, Herring or something like that? A friend sent it to me in an e-mail. I didn't know they'd stick their feet almost in front of their head and plunge into the water. You pay attention to how they carry fish when they are flying? Aerodynamics.

Yeah, I noticed that on the third one. The bird was having trouble until it got the right grip on the large fish.

Yeah. They're cool and everything, but we have a couple that comes to our pond every year and love tilapia. This year with no tilapia, they were hammering my smallmouth. Nature is beautiful, but wish it was beautiful down the road a bit.

I hear you doc. I encourage them to leave. I thought when I found this that an otter had moved in. Not so - a week later I saw the big O in a tree. This fish was hand picked for genetics. I hope the meat helps the O to grow bigger - somewhere else !

I had to use this to keep an osprey out of my spawning BG and Tilapia.
