This endeavour has afforded me the opportunity to harden my nerve, and deepen my resolve. No longer am I concerned with empty threats, harsh rhetoric, or snide comments. The scornful laughter of the uninformed now falls on my deaf ears, whilst their condescension falls away like fish slime on a freshly waxed graphite fishing rod.
So as is plainly evident dear sir, I have faced oppression before, and I will not shirk from its countenance yet again. Nay, I welcome it.
