Rest easy, you're not screwed. Yes the HBG will eat things that the LMB could be eating. But, since they don't reproduce like BG, if you don't stock more HBG, the BG will dominate.
I stocked 100 HBG in my pond, and it had 100's of Northern BG in it. I removed maybe 25 HBG, and haven't caught another one. That was 4 years ago.
Looking at your fish, will you be stocking LMB in the pond, or are there some in there now?
