We have a young 1/2 acre pond. Stocked BG and tuffies last fall. Spawn has come so just stocked 50 LMB fingerlings.
My 5yo lab loves chasing dragonflies around the edge and stays in the rim of the pond constantly. I don't think this is a problem, but wouldn't this interfere with bluegill spawning? The pond has attractors off shore from the edge, two large gravel banks and riprap. It's 12' at the deepest parts. I am seeing some dead adult minnows ,but a ton of fry. Thanks for your help.

I would think it is more than okay. Our border collie loves to do the same thing.
