My pond has always had very low water clarity without fertilizing. I have 3-4 in. of clarity right now. The problem is planktonic algea suspended in the water not the floating type. I need to get the water clearer for the health of the fish. I know the copper sulfate can dammage fish eggs and want to avoid this if I can. So the question is would my first spawn be over by now or should I wait another week or so? The pond is in south central nebraska. I dont think I have a choice but to do it soon with only 3-4 in. of visibility. You cannot see through the water to see eggs. Pond is a 3/4 acre tank.... Thanks
