Happy 4th of July!

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Happy, Happy, 4th everyone!

Skeeter's are trying to hook up with my laptop screen while outside! Stupid skeeters!

I did see a couple that after drawing their fill, landed on their back's with leg's kicking in the air, and it all ended peacefully smile

Wonder what the BAC limit on a skeeter is grin

Certainly was an interesting night at work... The drunks seemed to have finally passed out for the night.

I'm currently in Chicago and I have never seen so many LARGE fireworks going off all over the place. Some seemed to be computer controlled because the timing was too good. I'm talking 3", 4" and a few 6" mortars.

Only saw one ambulance and fire truck go by.

We live so far out in the sticks that the chance of seeing fireworks is quite remote......... so I walked out in the yard and shot my .357 magnum at a burn pile a few times, then went to bed.

I like tracers at night myself!

Not too many hillbillies blowing crap up around here this year! Although a couple of those bangs shook the house. That weren't no M80!
