I may be alone, but one of the reasons I pretty much stick to my ponds these days vs. the public lakes is the annoying jet skies and power boats that come very close to your boat when you're fishing and create a carnival atmosphere on the lakes. The guy in an average size fishing boat doesn't have a chance as he sits in his boat bouncing up and down as if he was in a hurricane. But maybe I'm just an old man that doesn't know how to have fun? Well if you're with me here comes another item that promises to be quite annoying while you're trying to get some peaceful fishing in. I wonder if they will become the rage the jet skies have become? Right now the only thing that will keep this thing at bay is the price tag of $136,00 but there are some rich kids on the lakes in my area who's daddy will probably buy it for them. And I'm sure the price will come down. New jetpack gets set for summer take-offhttp://www.cnn.com/2011/TECH/innovation/02/03/jetpack.jetlev.water.sports/index.html?hpt=C2

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Go back to bed Cecil. You're too young to be up this early.
That thing looks like a real good way to get hurt.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

We had a guy electrocute himself down here after he ran a power cord to his jetski to jumpstart it! I guess doctors aren't well versed on electricity and water.

There is a ship with a tug going through Muskegon Lake and it would break up the ice. They are warning everyone to stay off the lake. Well, last year the same thing occurred, but some guy in a truck obviously did not pay attention. He would regularly drive his truck on the ice to get to his fishing spot. This time, he went through, truck and all. He was OK, but they did not pull the truck out till spring. That cost a pile-O-cash. My nomination for the Darwin Award!
