She's developed a habit of coming over to me and staring at me in a sitting position when I'm the computer for a while at night. If I see if she wants out she does not. If I check her food bowl it's fine, and so is the water. However if I leave the computer she heads for the bed as if to say you need to get off the computer and get to bed now! How about that? I get in bed and she jumps up at her place at the end of the bed.
The wife says the dog literally cries when I leave the house without her. It's going to break my heart to go on vacation next summer, and leave her with the parents.
