Has anybody else ever caught a LMB on liver (deer, in this case) while catfishing? He must have liked it, he swallowed it. Scratch one "bass-safe" bait for me.

I have caught bass on cut bait while fishing for bullheads. Usually it is when the bait is moving, for example, it is still falling or I attempt to straighten the line. I can't remember catching a LMB on a bait that had been sitting for any amount of time.

Theo- I catch several lmb every year on limb lines set out for channels and blues. Have caught them on liver, hot dog, dough baits, ect. Not sure what them are thinking when they do that.
