He wanted to go on vacation, but his family didn't have enough money to do so. His mother convinced him to send a box around the world and ask people to put a local trinket in the box at each stop, then send it on to somewhere else in the world -- much like is happening with the PB Traveling Lures. Richard's mother helped him write the letter. In April 1992 the box arrived in a small town in Alaska. It included things from all over the world. The residents put the doctor's thermometer in the box because it had been in the mouths of all the residents. They sent it to a town in India. Does anybody know what happened to Richard's round-the-world trinket box? I'm glad we've got Todd keeping track of our lures so we don't possibly lose track of it.
