Hatchery trout love eating rocks... Why? Maybe because they are used to eating brown pellets and brown rocks look similar. I have never caught a wild born trout with a rock in its stomach. Then again, I have only kept a handful of wild trout for the table...

Photobucket is blocked where I work, so I can't see most of the photos that are posted.
When I read one of Randy's posts at lunch time I was having difficulty visualizing the "broke-back Rapala."
Pictures sure clear things up.

I think it's Jimmy Hoffa's gall-stone.

Hmmmm, this rock could end up being a prized possession. Never know, could be the jewel in the trinket box. I think others should also include anomalies with their experience with the TL Show. I think it would be a plus. Great start Randy! I think Andy needs to be on the rotation. Probably tie things up a bit longer, but not much.

I think that with a lot of the pond owners that live on the property, a day will be enough. We should be able to bank enough time to accomidate shipping the lures across the big pond. The big question is how do they get labeled so they aren't held up in customs for a long while (on both ends)?

I looked on the USPS website and it doesn't LOOK like it would be bad at all. All the forms are there to download. My slot will only allow me to fish the magic lures 1 weekend so we'd pick up a week there but I'm not sure how we would do the banking thing with the extra time. Any ideas? Andy should be in the loop

I agree that Andy should be involved. After all, the Viking Rules are very important.
I'd be glad to cover the costs for shipping to him. I'd paypal it to the sender. Might just have to factor in an extra 1-2 weeks for the process.

I'll be happy to chip in on the cost. I think it's only about $15 but no matter, I'll be happy to help.

Todd, not only that, but I verbally abused him to tears!!! As you well should have! Nicely done! Just don't let PETA get hold of this thread or you'll be sunk!

Here is report 2 for the traveling lure show. Only had limited time (moving 6 tons of lime from where lime truck got stuck and dumped its load to get out) to fish. Twenty mins in each of 2 lakes. Only used one lure Rapala minnow before my weekend was up. Who is next Todd ? Lake 1 Caught several LMB like this one. 2 Lbs and 16 inches. Lake 2 The CNBG were constantly biting the lure. Caught about 5 this size. 2 LMB like this one.

Eric, those bass look good. The lure you caught those on was the one that I couldn't catch anything on.

I glad we're off to a good start. My main pond has only had fish in it for 6 months now so I'm not sure how good I'll do but so far, the results are excellent!!

Good job, Eric! Hey, you better feed those bluegill. Their eyes are bigger than their mouth. Keep the lures for another day or 2 if you want. I cant get over there til at least Wed., maybe later. I dont want them to sit in the mailbox. Nobody there now. If you send them to Houston, I may be gone by the time they arrive.
