Pond book that is. I had a pair of Buffle Head ducks on the pond yesterday evening. While I've seen them on larger BOW's, this is the first ones that I've seen on the pond.
If they come back today I'll see about getting a picture. They didn't like me and stayed as far away from me as they could and still stay in the water. I'm amazed at the noise their wings made just before they landed - I thought something was falling out of the tree above me. They must have really liked what they saw, they left and came back twice in the hour that I was out there.
Momma goose is sitting on her nest as well.
