We get Owa and we're going to be getting even better. <drool> And I just found out yesterday we got that QB Brion Carnes. I had heard rumors, but now it's 'official'. As official as it can be coming from a junior in high school. I have a cousin who's a diehard Sooners fan (not sure what went wrong with that one...). He's in the Air Force...in TEXAS. So it has not been a fun year for him college sports wise.

This should probably be on rivals.com but it sounds like Carnes is going to WKU. We did get a quarterback commit for the 2011 class though.

This should probably be on rivals.com but it sounds like Carnes is going to WKU. We did get a quarterback commit for the 2011 class though. That's rumors for you.  Bullhead, are you talking about Jamal Turner? That's the only other QB recruit that I find considering or 'committed' to NU.

From what I'm seeing we ended up getting Carnes. And Cooper. Now we need Owa. Supposed to announce around 2:30 I believe.

This class so far, without Owa, is ranked 25th in the nation. So many rumors out there, but many of them are not optimistic that he'll sign with NU. I think I'm going to stay offline till 1:30... yeah right.

Yeah, ouch. Under Rick Neuheisel at UCLA. Poor guy. I know he wanted to be closer to home and stay on the west coast, but man, Rick Neuheisel? He's a good kid and I really hope he didn't just bury himself with this decision.
