The Northern VA area typically averages about 10" of snow per winter... The last 5 or so winters we've been lucky to get more than a few inches. This year we got 18" in one December snow storm. We got 9" last weekend, another 4" tonight and they are calling for another possible foot plus in snow this upcoming weekend. This winter may go down as the snowiest in Mid-Atlantic history! It's been colder than normal as well, but not brutally cold for the most part. I wonder how some of the RES and other fish pushing their northern limits will fair with this weather? I am betting the wild quail population is gonna take a beating with all this snow as well.
