I wanted to start a new thread and received a message that I don’t have the rights to start a thread on this forum. Has small fathead moderated big chub into oblivion? Our Internet access has been off and on again with the recent storm. To my relief, I wasn’t logged on because of the Internet off part. After logging back on I am happy to post the following: Gail is doing great after surgery. Barrett Jackson Auctions are on Speed. Vikings are not going to the Super Bowl. I have a new GMC pickup that goes 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and tops out at a speed limiter 112 MPH. The snow is being decimated by the warm rains.

Never, never.

Vikings are going to the Super Bowl.
A little early for the declaration isn't it? Being a born packer fan I have mixed emotions if this does happen

Gail is doing great after surgery.
Barrett Jackson Auctions are on Speed.
Vikings are going to the Super Bowl.
I have a new GMC pickup that goes 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and tops out at a speed limiter 112 MPH.
Glad to hear Gail is doing well! I've been watching some of the Barrett Jackson, dang cars are still going for wild money! Tell us more about your new pickup. 0-60 in 4.7 seconds is awesome in any car let alone a pickup!

Tell us more about your new pickup. 0-60 in 4.7 seconds is awesome in any car let alone a pickup! It's a GMC Sierra extended cab 4x4 with the 6.2 liter engine, 3.73 locker rear gear and 6 speed automatic. This is the same basic engine that is installed in the base Corvette and the new Camaro SS. It is a multi-fuel engine (E85 thru Premium unleaded) rather than just premium unleaded for the cars. It is rated 403 horsepower in the multi-fuel configuration.

hey dwight, glad the mrs is doing good.
congrats on the new gmc, it is however a shame (IMHO) that they DESTROYED the body styles (both chevy AND gmc)....i'm hanging on to my 2000 gmc as long as practicable.
GSF are people too!

Dwight:
I'm assuming that the 0-60 time is in 4wd?
I gotta ask, how's the mileage?

I'm happy for ya except as noted! Saints may have something to say about that.

Pack fans, remember it was your GM, Ted Thompson, who figured home boy was washed up.

Pack fans, remember it was your GM, Ted Thompson, who figured home boy was washed up. Noone ever though Brett was washed up, it was just time for the organization to go with a younger and very talented qb before the team lost him and had to start over. Who can complain when you have an allpro QB starting on your team. I think it was a great choice that the organiztion made. If Brett played for GB this year they would not of finished as well as they did. Brett would not of been able to survive with the terrible O-line GB had for the first half of the season. Brett is having a great year but it is the players around him that have greatly attributed to this. The great D-fence, the O-line, and the running game have made it possible for him to have the season he has had.

Scott, I guess we will find out about the Saints and Colts. Favre and Co. whipped them all over the field but a couple of key mistakes cost them the trip to the Big Show.

I gotta ask, how's the mileage? 0-60 time was in 2WD. It is rated 19 highway, 12 city. During 0-60 runs, it is about 3.1.
