Ahhh. Okay, Omaha. I'll concede your point. Definitely: if they have no option, compete in a mixed team. And definitely believe the best players should take the field, court, etc. Competition is about winning . . . even if the the competition is to beat your own time. I'd forgotten not all sports have a mirror in women's. Tip o' my cap!
I didn't think we were too far off on our thought processes.
In high school, we had a girl who wrestled. Now, that, I don't know. I realize there wasn't an option for her to wrestle other girls, but wrestling is very, uh, close contact, so I'm on the fence on allowed a girl to compete with the boys in that sport.
