Be careful buying cheap chains, (or even 100something dollar chains from Pep Boys)
My friends and I took a trip to Big Bear last Winter and broke/lost our set because apparently they are cheaply made. They were the cable type. I believe called Z chains. We had to buy chains from a 711 at 3 in the morning to get up the final hill to the cabin.
It was an adventure, but definitely a good time.
