Bad day(s) for the racoons.
Racoon: "Hey man! I'm just a squirrel tryin' to get a nut."
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

The hog and buck look really angry. I guess they dislike raccoons as much as people.

I see you have a Cuddie. I just got one, and I'm waiting for an answer back from them on why it isn't taking pictures. Other than programming in the day/time,etc., all you do is put in fresh batteries, the SD card, turn it to what delay you want and set it out (aiming it of course), right?

esshup,
Make sure your SD card is good. We had the same problem only to find the SD card was bad. Once it was replaced, it has worked great.

Big Gulp:
Yup, the SD card is good. I used it in my Kodak digital camera and in the Moultrie. Deleted the images via computer and re-installed in the Cuddie - still no pic. So are the batteries, brand new Duracell's. (I tried 2 sets just to make sure)

esshup, Might look at the sd card again, if they are like mine, they will need to be formatted for certain applications. I had to use my camera to format the sd before it would play in my mp3, yet I can format them in my computer to play in the camera.

Incredible pictures. After seeing the pictures, I think I may have to put a buck and boar in my chicken pen when I get new pullets next spring. Buck and Boar bait incarcerated -- before sudden lead poisoning took effect:

Great pics! I have had raccoons tear up my feeders even with varmint guards. Someone at On-Time suggested putting tack strips on the upper feeder legs and that seems to be working. Just don't forget about them when you are filling the feeder

My new Cudde wouldn't take pictures right out of the box. After reformatting the SD card it worked fine.

I called and talked to the tech people at Cuddy. She had me go thru the camera and she determined that the camera wasn't recording an image, SD card or not. It's on the way back to them for a check-up.
FWIW, the way she had me check was 1) make sure that the camera was programmed correctly 2)put the delay on 30 seconds 3) trigger the camera, and when the timer counted down to 18 seconds, press button "A" That will tell you how many images the camera took. Mine would always show 0. She said that even with the SD card out of it, it would record that it took a pic.

Awesome pics, its good to see those coons getting a whoopin. When we could bait here I had lots of pics of deer and coons eating side by side, your buck must be really hungry to kick that coon out of there like that.
Luckily we dont have too many hogs here yet, but I think they will be coming soon enough, the DNR says they are in 40 counties in Michigan
