Gail is going under the neurosurgeon's knife on November 5th.

This will be her third back surgery. Though surgery sucks, strong pain medications and continuous pain suck more.

I am putting this out here because the Power of the Forum Family is well known to Gail and me.

Hope all goes well Gail. I have had two back surgeries. The first didn't do the trick. The second one, they installed hardware and did a massive fusion. It has been wonderful. Hope you have as good of luck as I have. Hang in there.

In Dog Beers, I've had one.

Good luck Gail, Prayers for a speedy recovery. Tell the neurosurgen to get it right this time. Three times is a lot of pain to go through.

Anyway, you come out of this like a champ!!! We're pulling for you....

May the LORD bless you and this time will be the final on the back--all healed. I know the pain you are going thru and I feel for you. I had mine on the upper spine where they go thru the front of the neck. It helped tremendous but with almost all such operations I do have down time where it is a little painful. I hope this will be the last back pain that you have and a pain free time after the operation. Good luck.

Gail's back surgery was postponed from November 5th because of some bureaucratically induced change in insurance company requirements.

Surgery was rescheduled for mid-December after meeting those requirements.

Gail’s pre-surgery physical showed an anemic condition that had to be diagnosed and corrected before surgery could be done meaning another delay.

So finally, surgery is scheduled for 8:30AM on Thursday.

Please think positive for my Gail and if you have it in your heart, one more prayer before surgery.
