re: cedar siding. When we remodeled my parents house at the lake in the mid 70's Dad used cedar siding that was on plywood backing, IIRC, 6'-8' long panels, about 12" cedar face showing. It has been stained with semi-transparent stain, and it needs another coat (power wash first of course). It's been 6-7 years since it was stained. On the shady side of the house, mold is growing. Any suggestions on a good semi-transparent stain that might have a mold barrier as well?
