Here's the faux stone my fireplace and chimney is made of. The stone looks pretty real to me and I've even studied it to duplicate it for taxidermy habitat. One advantage to faux stone for a chimney this big is it doesn't weigh as much as real stone. I've heard of real stone chimneys cracking foundations.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
