I used to laugh when I read post from those whose fish weren't taking to feeding. I thought that I had exceptionally smart fish because on about the third day mine were after the feed like a bunch of piranha after a bleeding capybara. Even between feedings, I could throw out a handful of AquaMax and watch the water boil with bluegills. However, then I noticed on some days, arriving shortly after the feeder went off, there was no activity. The feed pellets floated unwanted to shore. The fish were just not active that day. My son came upon a website with a calendar that takes into consideration moon, sun, tides etcetera and rates them from zero to three stars for how good the fishing will be. The days when the fish won't eat coincide with "zero" days.
Anyone else notice days when the fish won't eat?
