It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Impressive. Was it drizzling outside or were those little boils on the water?

Was it drizzling outside or were those little boils on the water? Dusk and dawn, there is virtually hundreds of surface hits. The darker it is, the more hits. We know that the BF tadpoles hit the surface all day to steal a breath of air, but I believe the dusk/dawn activity (which is by far more active than the daytime BF TP hits) are likely fish going for bugs.

Brettski! Thanks for sharing. I let it play in the background this morning while I fixed the dogs breakfast. I was imagining what my mornings will be like once we finally get the pond redone and the house built. If that is what I have to look forward to I can't wait!

Nice. Very peaceful. Man your place sure stays green. This time of year the field grass around El Dorado is all brown and dry.

Brettski, your dawn song consists of at least the following I could identify: indigo bunting, American goldfinch, Eastern phoebe, chipping sparrow, crow, cardinal, house wren, and bullfrog. Might have been an Eastern bluebird and robin in there too! Wonderful audio/video!! Thanks for sharing.
