I have noticed that some of my LMB from another lake have black spots on them. Some of the spots are as big as a quarter and some are smaller. They are in no particular place on the LMB , but appear to be some sort of growth or lesion. Does anyone know what this may be?

After further research I do see that this topic has been covered although if anyone has anything new to add I would love to listen or read it.

Next time I catch one I will have to look closer and take photos. I think were like the ones in the thread except no so many.
