You know all this talk about frogs disappearing blah blah blah but I have never seen so many frogs in my life as this year. And I too have less herons etc. so I'm sure it's cause and effect.

Could it be the reduction of frogs across the country is at least partially due to drought conditions and the protection of frog eating birds like herons that were disappearing and less of a threat to frogs back when DDT was prevalent?
